If you have to pin your son down with both arms and then wrestle him until you are dripping sweat while saying, "You WILL be a lion for tonight's party!" does it ruin the spirit of wearing a costume? Happy Halloween!

sophie does not want to wear her costume either. the one time i tried to put it on her she screamed bloody murder. now she will look at it and say, "cow! moo! sophie not wear it!".
Halloween is of the utmost importance, if your child looks back and sees himself 'dressed up' in nothing but a food stained Gap t-shirt and sweat pants he will think its okay to spend the rest of his Halloweens throwing a stick and a bandana over his shoulder clutching a can of beans going hobo style. Every year, same costume. Your effort is worth it. Now every year he will try a new costume in attempt to erase the memory of the lion. Good Mommy!!
LOL. This makes me nervous! I haven't even tried Mia Grace's butterfly costume on yet. Thomas is the most adorable Lion ... and he won't remember a thing :)
oh my goodness, adrienne, basically i spent the better part of an hour reading your blog today and was crying laughing through most of it!I am so excited to visit your blog regularly now. And i forgot to ask you 2 questions today: where are you and your husband going to church? and have you ever heard of MOPS? I am the coordinator of a MOPS group that meets at my church and I thought maybe you might be interested, it would be so cool to see you more often!
